The Silicon D372 GPU is a three phase mobile aircraft Ground Power Unit accommodated in a fully towable trailer capable of providing 28 V DC 2000 Amps for starting purposes and a 300Amp continuous clean avionics supply. Full instrumentation is provided on the rear panel or bulkhead.

Voltmeter and dual range Ammeter 0 to 300 Amps, 0 to 2000 Amps.
  Thermal Warning lights
Temperature control
Cooling fans switch in at 63 degrees C for optimum operation.
Thermal protection
Thermal switch at 80 degrees C reduces maximum current to150 amps.
Thermal switch at 100 degrees C gives protective shut-down.
28 Volt Power Warning Lamps
Two amber lights are mounted on the side of the unit.
3Ø input protection
Automatic phase rotation correction of 380v 50 Hz input.
